All things through Christ

"But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!" (2 Corinthians 12:9 Amplified version)

I will not be afraid of my weaknesses for His grace will see me through.
I don't have to be ashamed of my weaknesses nor do I have to hide them by putting on a tough suit. You're not shaped by what people think of you, but what God thinks of you. Only God has the big picture of you. He has a beautiful plan for each of us. He knew me before I was knitted in my mother's womb. Before I was born He set me apart (Jeremiah 1:5). The thorns in your flesh or the weaknesses in you are to make you humble so that you do not take pride in your own strength and lose focus in your ultimate purpose. In the hands of God, we broken vessels can get mended, fixed and beautiful again.

We have a beautiful relationship with God and I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13). When you are united with Jesus, you are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

The weaker that I am, the more I will need God's help. This is to glorify God not to make you feel insignificant. He has promised to anoint your head with oil and He prepares a beautiful table for you in front of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). Those who knew you will be amazed by your new found confidence and strength that they will want to know the source of this joy leading them to glorify God.

God wants you to succeed. When you partner with Jesus, you are giving him the steering wheel of your life. He wants you to win. But if you win on your own strength, you will reject Him. But if you partner with Him, you will glorify the Lord who made you, who helped you. You will glorify the Lord for giving you the skills and ability to accomplish what you set out to do. I want to be part of your successes, I want to see you win and I want to help you win. This is what the Lord desires for us.

There is a great fulfillment in working together with the Lord than striving to do it in your own strength. If you try to achieve something in your own strength to satisfy your deep set of insecurities,  you will though have achieved success in your mission, you will still feel dissatisfied. You start looking for something else to fill that void. This cycle continues till your death. People who think or say I have accomplished everything I wanted in life is not true. They're hiding behind their true emotions.

Only God who created you can satisfy you. That vacant spot in your heart is designed only for God to dwell in, not for things, money, pride, ego or people to occupy. Whatever you think you've accomplished is not going to satisfy that emptiness.  Only God can!

Is there a mountain in my life, I can move it not by my own, but through the strength of Christ. Is there a Goliath in my life. I can slay him through skills and wisdom of the Lord. Do I want to do something for which I do not have the necessary skills I can say to God, Lord this is the little that I have, take it, multiply it and help me achieve this job for your namesake.
Anything is possible if I give the little that I have to Him and trust Him to win the battle for me.

Are you unable to forgive someone who hurt you? Is there someone who has had a traumatic experience in the past and is unable to get over it? The love of Jesus can heal and His grace will renew your spirit.

All things are possible through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13

What are your weaknesses?  How did God's word help you? How did you overcome? Share your experiences.
Do you need a word. Let's pray together.
God Bless!
